This website was created in loving memory of our first akita, Akira. He inspired our family for thirteen years and gave us a deep appreciation for the breed. He had a rough start in life and came to us as a rescue. However, he had it in his heart to forgive, and became a sweet and loving boy who always put our needs above his. He will forever be loved and never forgotten.
